IEEE Aerospace And Electronic Systems Society - Ieee Aerospace Conference
The IEEE Aerospace and Electronic Systems Society (AESS) is a society of the IEEE that focuses on the advancement of integrated electronic systems and large-scale integrated interoperable systems.
The AESS is the only professional society dealing with total integrated electronic systems and the enabling technologies. AESS pioneered large-scale integrated interoperable systems. We interact with all technical societies and organizations.
Purpose
The purposes of the Society are:
(a) technical, scientific, literary, professional, and educational,
(b) the advancement of the theory and practice of electrical and electronics engineering, and of the allied arts and sciences,
(c) the maintenance of high professional standing of its members,
The Society shall aid in promoting close cooperation and exchange of technical information among its members and other interested persons and shall hold conferences, symposia and workshops/meetings for the presentation of papers and their discussion, and through its committees shall study and provide for the needs of its members by stimulating research, initiating and developing engineering standards, and sponsoring periodical and special publications.
Fields of Interest
The field of interest shall be the organization, systems engineering, design, development, integration, and operation of complex systems for space, air, ocean, or ground environments. These systems include but are not limited to navigation, avionics, mobile electric power and electronics, radar, sonar, telemetry, military, law-enforcement, automatic test, simulators, and command and control.
Publications
AESS publishes three publications: AESS Systems Magazine, AESS Transactions and AESS Magazine Tutorials.
Conferences
AESS annually sponsors numerous international conferences that focus on its field of interest, including the IEEE Aerospace Conference, IEEE Radar Conference], and the National Aerospace & Electronics Conference (NAECON)]. The society also operates more than 60 chapters around the world.
A comprehensive listing of AESS conferences can be found on their website's "Conference Listing". Members are encouraged to submit papers, attend the conference, and network with your colleagues in your area of interest.
